The Dream Gallery

If you are a Freudian, you may find several interesting tidbits in here that you think will tell you quite a bit about my personality. I tend to disagree with a great deal of Freud's ideas in the matter of dream interpretation, simply for the fact that that people in our society have so many more eclectic sources upon which to draw from. I can't believe that a man living in Vienna at the turn of the century could have used the same symbology as I do. However, I do think dreams are fascinating, and often discuss them with friends. These are some of the memorable ones I have recorded.

If you have an interesting dream you want to share, send it to me, patrickxiii@excite.com, I'd be happy to HTMLize it, and put it here. (Please specify if you want your email address published, or posted anonymously). I also enjoy interpreting them, though I don't believe in ideas like "if you dream the number six, that means 'x'. I think dreams are much more straightforward than that, after all, if you don't know anything about numerology, how can your subconscious apply it to your dreams? I like some of Karl Jung's ideas, but only to a certain point.
